Today I present you a song that is very important to me. I started it in 2018 and then, shortly after I met Mane In Green I suggested this song as a collab. Then it was a long time of procrastination and life stuff (like live tours, they were a thing back then)... until Andy arrived and added some pieces that were clearly missing and finally we were able to get it together and submit to Ponies At Dawn: Eclipse. You can get the whole album here poniesatdawn.bandcamp.com/album/eclipse
This is a song about recovering from winter, coming out from a dark place of your soul, finding new powers inside you and making an important desicion to move on with your life and make it better.
lyrics
I’m asleep under the deepest snow
I'm so distant but deep inside I'm waiting
I want to hear the winds of spring blow
Almost there, but soon I'll be ready to live
I am the hope, I am the light,
So I must win again this fight
Save what I can, forgive what I can forgive
I am the newborn Winter Sun
And soon I will stand up and shine
I'm standing here. Today I choose to live.
In the middle of the darkest time
When the night seems so dark and never ending
From this moment I begin to shine
Now my heart is brighter than ever, very soon you will see
I am the hope, I am the light,
So I must win again this fight
Save what I can, forgive what I can forgive
I am the newborn Winter Sun
I’m ready to stand up and shine
I'm standing here. Today I choose to live.

Perfect, mellow, techno synthpop for a long, cold expanse of post-midnight cryoseism snowquakes, here in Central Illinois. Pure pleasure for jaded, jejune ears! str8sounds
Recalling the same gothic wonder as early Dead Can Dance, the latest from Ariana Saraha is a drift through an enchanted dreamworld. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 27, 2022
